About Deborah

Alaska Energy Dudes and Divas (DDs) is a grassroots effort that began in January 2010, as a way to inform the public about the Trans Alaska Pipeline (TAPS) oil production decline, and the state of Alaska's economy. Deborah Brollini, the Alaska Energy Diva took on the task of educating the media, the public and lawmakers about TAPS and our economy, and the importance of oil tax reform.

Deborah is a 40-year Alaskan who has a passion for educating the public about energy. She has spent the last 15 years in the healthcare field working in community outreach. Prior to her entering the healthcare field she owned her own IT recruiting company and worked as a technical writer on some of Alaska's high profile oil and gas projects.

Deborah has worked with web pioneer and author Aliza Sherman who is one of the most influential digital, and social media consultants in the country. Deborah assisted Aliza with several of her social media projects, and helped manage Aliza's The Complete Idiot's Guide to Crowdsourcing book tour. Aliza serves as an adviser and mentor to Deborah and other women as they build their businesses.
